It broke out just before 7 p.m. on Tuesday on the second floor of a two story office building on Moraga Way.

The fire marshal was worried about the floor collapsing, so he pulled his firefighters out, and set up pumpers at all four corners.

"It's complicated when you get a fire up in the attic areas, to get the roof opened up enough to get water actually on the flames where it's burning," said Michael Mentink, the Moraga-Orinda Fire Marshal.

The building belongs to a staffing company for nurses. No word yet what caused that fire.
