Residents of 30 Bisceglia Street are being taken to a temporary shelter at a church. The two-story building has experienced flooding before, the residents say, when there is heavy rain.

Their apartments began flooding around 3:30 this afternoon. They quickly placed their belongings on top of sofas and tables until city officials could arrange to help them move out with a police van.

A half-block away, Monterey Highway in Morgan Hill is flooded as well.
