The ticket matched five of the six winning numbers in the May 15 drawing. The person who purchased the winning ticket has less than a month to claim it before the ticket expires, according to lottery spokeswoman Cathy Johnston.

Winning tickets must be claimed 180 days after the drawing. This ticket is worth $103,875, but only until its Nov. 11 expiration date.

"At 5 p.m. that day, that ticket would expire and it would go directly to education," Johnston said.

The ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven store, located at 657 N. Santa Cruz Ave. The winning numbers are 48, 12, 24, 7, 36 and the Mega number is 27.

Johnston said tickets worth this much money seldom go unclaimed for so long.
