Education jobs saved by stimulus package

The Obama administration announced that the economic stimulus package, has created or saved 250,000 jobs this year in the education field.

the white house report concludes that money from the $787 billion stimulus has helped states fill budget gaps that would have cost teachers their jobs in school districts and public universities across the country.

last week, the administration said another 30,000 jobs were created or saved by businesses that won federal contracts under the stimulus law.
