Researchers at Western University found that cell phone users walk slower, weave more often on the street, and are unaware of other pedestrians.

In the study, researchers say less than half of the cell phone users they studied did not even notice a clown on a unicycle.

The study is in the Journal of Applied Cognitive Psychology.
