Russell had three more turnovers in Sunday's 38-0 loss to the Jets -- the worst home loss in franchise history. Russell was 6-11 and only 61 yards. He has thrown only two touchdowns this season with eight interceptions and five lost fumbles.

Tom Cable hopes that benching Russell will be a wake-up call, but Russell seems to want to spread the blame.

"I don't think it's me personally, I really don't. It's a bad combination of one guy doesn't do something right one time, and he doesn't do... Ya know, it all plays in the play. But I personally don't think it's me. Do you think so? Sometimes. Alright," said Russell.
