AAA says holiday travel will be up only slightly

That's up 1.4 percent over last year, but last year's travel season was pretty grim. The economy was tanking and Thanksgiving travel dropped 25 percent back then. Today we found quite a few people are still sticking close to home.

"Normally we'd just fly off. We have three kids and we normally go away and take a vacation for our Thanksgiving but this year we're not," says Donita Murphy, from San Francisco.

AAA says fewer people will fly because of all those extra fees and reduced airline capacity; but more people will drive or take trains and buses to see loved ones.
