Meals On Wheels brings dinner to seniors

There were lots of families among the 400 volunteers who packed and delivered Thanksgiving dinners and then fanned out across the city.

Some 1,200 seniors dined on turkey with vegetables and cranberry sauce with pie for dessert.

Many of the seniors who were spending the day alone enjoyed the company. They also received a plant to brighten up their day.
