About Zinnia:

Zinnia, led by Chef Sean O'Brien and his wife Patricia O'Brien, opened its doors in October 2008.

The restaurant has a rich culinary history; most notably it was the site of The Cypress Club restaurant for over a decade. With a vision for creating a fresh, distinctive interior, Sean and Patricia enlisted the help of award winning architect and designer Michael Guthrie

Sean's carefully crafted menu uses fresh seasonal ingredients to create dishes that are simultaneously sophisticated and familiar, like braised short ribs over a horseradish-spiked potato puree and risotto with chanterelles and butternut squash in a Parmesan broth.

"My background in fine dining guides everything I do," he says, "but I also build a certain comfort level into my menus, so that people can relax and enjoy themselves."
