Freezing temperatures continue in the Bay Area

Eighteen flights from Oakland were cancelled due to weather this morning, and seven planes leaving San Jose had to be de-iced.

In Santa Rosa, a water pipe broke this morning at a Catholic church office, flooding the carpeted floors inside. The building was evacuated briefly, and the fire department helped clean up.

You're likely to wake up to a fresh layer of frost on your windshield Thursday, as was the case in Novato this morning where it got down to 23 degrees overnight.

Temperatures are expected to go up a few degrees as the week progresses, but we've had three very chilly mornings like this now, and it's not over yet.
