A marching band made up entirely of blind students is getting ready for its big national parade debut, New Year's Day at the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena.

Here's how they're doing it. All of the students have a marching assistant to guide them down the five-mile stretch.

Some of the assistants are nervous, but they say the kids have no stage fright. They're fearless and ready. They've been practicing for the past 14-months.

They will be the first all-blind marching band in the Rose Parade's history.
