The fur is flying over a new People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, ad featuring first lady Michelle Obama.

PETA is showcasing Mrs. Obama in its new anti-fur campaign, along with Oprah Winfrey, Carrie Underwood and Tyra Banks.

The headline says "fur-free and fabulous."

None of the women posed for the ad, but all have said they do not wear fur.

The White House says PETA does not have permission to use the first lady's image.
