Two suffers had to be rescued after they were swept away in a strong rip current at San Francisco's Ocean Beach off Seal Rock.

The surfers were stuck for about 30 minutes before the Coast Guard rescued them. After making it back to shore, one surfer called it a day.

But the other one didn't want to miss out on those gnarly waves, so the Coast Guard cutter dropped him back off in the rough surf, but away from the rip current.

The waves were so strong, even the Coast Guard cutter got tossed around.
