Godiva Coffee Winter Beverages

Godiva Vanilla Coffee Cake Latte
Per serving:

  • 6 ounces freshly brewed Godiva French Vanilla Coffee
  • 2-3 tsp Spiced Brown Sugar (recipe below)
  • 2-4 ounces warm milk
    Milk foam or whipped cream (optional)
Directions:
  1. Brew Godiva French Vanilla Coffee following instructions on bag.

  2. While coffee is brewing, heat milk on stovetop or in microwave. Do not overheat. If desired, use a whisk or hand-held whipper to foam the milk.

  3. Pour brewed coffee into serving cups. Add Spiced Brown Sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.

  4. Add warm milk and foam or whipped cream if desired.

  5. Sprinkle with Spiced Brown Sugar.

Spiced Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup dark brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch ground clove
Directions:
  1. Whisk together until evenly mixed.

  2. May be made in advance and stored in an airtight container.
Godiva Peppermint Chocolate Truffle Latte
Per serving:
  • 6 ounces fresh brewed Godiva Chocolate Truffle Coffee
  • 1-2 tsp. peppermint sugar (recipe below)
  • 2-4 ounces hot milk
  • Milk foam or whipped cream (optional)
  • Crushed Peppermint Candies (optional)v
Directions:
  1. Brew Godiva Chocolate Truffle Coffee following instructions on bag.

  2. While coffee is brewing, heat milk on stovetop or in microwave. Do not overheat. If desired, use a whisk or hand-held whipper to foam the milk.

  3. Pour brewed coffee into serving cups. Add peppermint sugar and stir until dissolved.

  4. Add warm milk and foam or whipped cream if desired.

  5. If desired, sprinkle with crushed peppermint candies.
Peppermint Sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp pure peppermint extract
Directions:
  1. Whisk together until evenly mixed and free of clumps.

  2. May be made in advance and stored in an airtight container.
Godiva Double Chocolate Truffle Mocha
Per serving:
  • 6 ounces fresh brewed Godiva Chocolate Truffle Coffee
  • 1-2 Tbs. Chocolate Syrup
  • 2-4 ounces warm milk
    Milk foam or whipped cream (optional)
Directions:
  1. Brew Godiva Chocolate Truffle Coffee following instructions on bag.

  2. While coffee is brewing, heat milk on stovetop or in microwave. Do not overheat. If desired, use a whisk or hand-held whipper to foam the milk.

  3. Squeeze chocolate sauce into bottom of each serving cup. Add coffee and stir until thoroughly mixed.

  4. Add warm milk and foam or whipped cream if desired.

  5. Decorate top with a swirl of chocolate syrup.

About Kim Lopez-Walters:

Kim Lopez-Walters led the Godiva Coffee development team and played a major role in every facet of the product's creation including initial market research, coffee profile development, testing, packaging and launch.

During her tenure on the project, she spent more than 12 months working closely with Godiva chefs to fine tune the four truffle-inspired flavored coffees and Godiva Coffee's Breakfast Blend.

Prior to her work with Godiva Coffee, Kim held marketing positions with a variety of food companies including Power Bar, Clif Bar, Starbucks Coffee Company, Nestle, Quaker Oats and Pepsi Cola Company. She was also a Consumer Strategist in the food and beverage category for Iconoculture, a company that closely follows and advises on consumer trends and behavior.

While at Pepsi-Cola, Kim served as spokesperson for the company's Hispanic Leadership Council and while at Nestle for the NesQuik bunny. Additionally, she has appeared as a guest on QVC as a representative of Pacific Coast Feather, a premium down and feather bedding company.

A mother of three and a self-proclaimed foodie, Kim enjoys cooking, canning jam, ranching and raising her own grass-fed beef.

She received her Bachelor of Arts from The Colorado College and her Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
