SF library offering classes to boost memory

SAN FRANCISCO

The classes start Jan. 25 and will run through May 24. They are being taught in conjunction with the Older Adults Department at City College of San Francisco.

City College Professor Hope Levy will teach the classes, which will include techniques for conquering everyday memory challenges such as forgetting names and "tip of the tongue" syndrome.

The class will meet on Mondays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Main Library's lower level Latino/Hispanic Community Meeting Room.

Library patrons can take as few or as many classes as they would like. They just need to show up and fill out a registration form at the class.
