SF middle school jumps for Guiness World Record

SAN FRANCISCO

Roosevelt Middle School in San Francisco is one of 300 California schools where students jumped simultaneously for 10 minutes Monday morning, hoping to set a new record.

The schools are trying to break the Guinness world record for the most people jumping or skipping rope at the same time.

The existing record is 59,000 people in Australia. Whether they succeeded or not still depends on verification of the records.
