Man arrested at SFO for killing brother-in-law

FREMONT, CA

Veteran said officers responded to 1050 Quintara Way about 6:40 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting.

Officers found a 50-year-old man dead from an apparent gunshot wound, he said. The victim's name hasn't yet been released.

Veteran said some people at the scene speculated that the suspect, 47-year-old Lei Huang, had gone to Franklin Avenue in Fremont, where he lives, but others said he might be en route to the San Francisco airport.

As the Franklin Avenue address was being cleared by a SWAT team, San Francisco police notified Fremont police that they had arrested Huang at about 8:40 a.m. as he entered a terminal at the San Francisco airport.
