Chocolate cream puffs

Chocolate cream puffs
Yield: 6 servings

Basic chocolate mousse is used as the filling for these heavenly cream puffs. Refrigerate any leftover filling and enjoy it as a bonus dessert!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 6 frozen puff pastry shells
  • Grated semi-sweet chocolate for garnish
Process:
  1. Pre heat the oven to 400F
  2. Place the pastry shells into the oven
  3. Put the chocolate in a double boiler to melt it
  4. Whip the cream
  5. Fold the chocolate in the cream. This is a two step process.
  6. Remove the puff pastry top, hollowing out the shell.
  7. Fill the shell with the chocolate mousse.
  8. Garnish with grated chocolate, and top with a strawberry
