Church goers at the New Gethsemane Church of God In Christ in Richmond wanted to regain their confidence in attending Sunday services after a brazen shooting took place there a week ago.

On Thursday, police arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with the shooting, but the investigation is ongoing and they are still looking for two other suspects.

On Feb. 14, at about 12:30 p.m., three males in black hooded sweatshirts entered the church, fired five shots at two brothers. The shooting left a 14-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man injured.
