Gov. calls on Republicans to pass health care reform

WASHINGTON

Afterward he said that partisan politics need to be put aside in order to get health care reform passed.

"I think the important thing is get both parties together and find a way; bring the Republicans in and not to start from scratch. I think any Republican who says we should start from scratch, I think that's bogus and that's partisan talk," he said.

The governor once again insisted that the stimulus bill has worked, claiming it has created 150,000 jobs in California alone.

He says the U.S. needs to make rebuilding its infrastructure a priority -- the same way other leading industrialized nations do.
