Police arrest Fairfield teen robbery suspects

FAIRFIELD, CA

The robbery occurred at about 11 p.m. Friday when the victim, a 20-year-old man, was walking near Dover and East Pacific avenues, police said.

The three suspects approached the victim and stole his satchel and cell phone after assaulting and punching him, causing a bloody lip, according to police.

The suspects then ran away, and a search for them that night was unsuccessful.

However, early this morning, a police officer was patrolling the area where the robbery occurred and found three males walking along the same trail of the robbery.

He discovered that one of the males had stolen property belonging to Friday's victim, and the victim later identified all three males as being the suspects who robbed him, police said.

The suspects, ages 19, 14 and 16, then admitted their involvement in the robbery, according to police.

The 19-year-old suspect was booked into Solano County jail, and the two younger teens were booked into juvenile hall.
