Man arrested for burglaries in Pleasanton

PLEASANTON, CA

Officers went to Pans on Fire at 310 Main St. at about 4:15 a.m. in response to a commercial alarm and found Marco Antonio Aguilar-Fragoso hiding in a storage closet next to the business, according to police.

He allegedly had keys and two cash boxes that he had stolen from the business, police said.

He was arrested for burglary and taken to Pleasanton Police Department, where he provided investigators with a written statement admitting he burglarized the business, police said. He also allegedly admitted to burglarizing two business offices above Farmer's Restaurant at 855 Main St. on Feb. 28.

He was booked into the Santa Rita jail on three counts of burglary.
