Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn's Spa provides a special service by creating a personalized aromatherapy blend tailored to each individual's wellness needs. After an aromatherapy foot soak ritual and mini- consultation, the service provider creates a remedy-focused blend, that is used during the massage or given to the guest for home spa use.
The recipes range from remedies for physical ailments such as muscle aches and pains or insomnia and headache relief, to emotional and energetic balancing for anxiety, depression, grief and trauma.
Aromatherapy is a natural healing science that utilizes the therapeutic properties of essential oils extracted from botanicals to help restore balance and well-being.
The custom blended oil can be used during a massage, after shower or bath, and is massaged onto the skin so that the body can absorb the therapeutic benefits of the essential oils. Each blend is made with pure essential oils, all of which are pesticide free and are either wildcrafted or certified organic.
