Monterey Bay Aquarium debuts Hot Pink Flamingo exhibit

March 29, 2010 11:53:50 AM PDT
A sea change is coming to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Rather than just teaching about the dangers of global warming, the aquarium is getting political. The aquarium is opening a new exhibit called "Hot Pink Flamingos: Stories of Hope in a Changing Sea," designed to offer a different perspective on climate change.

Visitors will also be asked to write a letter at a kiosk. That letter will urge their senators to pass a global warming law.
