Lego fans have flocked to Fremont for one of the country's most unusual conventions.

It is the start of a three-day convention dedicated to the brightly colored plastic bricks and their fans. Creations range from castles to entire cities, all using Legos.

The convention is open to the public on Sunday so kids and the young at heart can learn first-hand how these amazing structures are put together.

It is, by the way, the only Lego convention being held in California this year.
