At about 1:30 a.m., the Santa Rosa Police Department received numerous calls about an injury accident in the area of state Highway 12 and Brush Creek Road.
Responding officers discovered there had been a solo-vehicle crash on eastbound Highway 12 at the intersection of Brush Creek Road.
The driver, Michael Hodgin, of Santa Rosa, was transported to a hospital. The passenger, 21-year-old Santa Rosa resident Haley Burns, had to be extricated from the vehicle and also was transported to a hospital, police said.
Neither person suffered injuries that are considered to be life threatening.
Hodgin was arrested after the crash.
