High profile SF kitten seeks new home

The triple murder conviction of a local gang member may be in jeopardy because of the police crime lab scandal.

A kitten that's been in the news lately is looking for a new home.

Yoda was one of the cats living in San Francisco's Police crime lab -- primarily to help catch mice. But after police leaders learned the cats were going to the bathroom in boxes of evidence, they were handed over to Animal Control.

The SPCA says Yoda is still a little shy, but the 7-week-old will be put up for adoption, once he is neutered and vaccinated next week.
