Fish and Game slow to act on Vallejo wild turkeys

Staff members at the California Fish and Game Department are acting as though they have swallowed a turkey bone.

Last month, 7 On Your Side reported that wild turkeys had invaded a quiet Vallejo neighborhood. However, the Fish and Game Department has been mum about what, if anything, it will do about it.

The aggressive turkeys have chased residents and even postal workers, making it difficult to get mail deliveries. Some residents though, say they actually enjoy the turkeys.

The Fish and Game Department said it would investigate possible solutions, but so far isn't saying much beyond that.
