Pediatrician at Lucile Packard wins Olympic medal

A pediatrician at Stanford's Lucile Packard Children's Hospital has just won a medal in the 2000 Olympic games.

Dr. Amy Chow was a member of Team USA at the Sydney games 10 years ago.

The Americans placed fourth, but on Wednesday the International Olympic Committee stripped China of its bronze in those games because the team had an underage member just 14-years-old when she competed.

That means the bronze medals will be taken from the Chinese gymnasts and redistributed to members of team USA including Dr. Chow.

Dr. Chow was also a member of the American team in 1996 the so-called "Magnificent Seven."

She won a team gold and an individual silver at those games.
