Preliminary results from Tuesday night's vote show that 79 percent of voters approved Palo Alto's Measure A. It will add another $96 to homeowner's tax bill bringing it to $589 dollars a year.
76 percent of voters approved Menlo Park's Measure C" increasing homeowners' bills by $178 dollars, bringing their annual tax bill to $743.
Both parcel tax measures needed a two-thirds majority to pass.
