C&T International/Sorelle recalls two dozen cribs

WASHINGTON

Officials say the drop-side hardware has the potential of separating from the tracks. They say it can cause the side to detach from the crib and create a gap that could trap and suffocate a young child.

About 170,000 cribs were sold across the country between January of 2000 and March of this year by C&T International/Sorelle prior to 2003. The company also was called Golden Baby Incorporated.

Officials say consumers should immediately stop using the cribs and contact the company for a replacement kit.
