According to the World Institute on Disability, about one in five Americans has a disability. This week's episode of "Beyond the Headlines" explores the lives of people living with disabilities here in Northern California. From serious unemployment issues ? 70% of the disability community is unemployed ? to job training and career planning, we'll introduce you to several local nonprofits that are stepping up to address the jobs and life needs of this community. You'll also discover the amazing stories of local people living with disability and rising above.
