Kaiser reaches deal with United Healthcare Workers

After months of negotiations, Kaiser Permanente announced a tentative agreement with the United Healthcare Workers.

The union represents 96,000 hospital technicians. The agreement will give them a 6 percent raise over two years, and allow them to keep their health care benefits.

The union acknowledged it was a remarkable achievement in a tough economy.
