The Capitol Weekly-Probolsky research tracking poll shows former eBay CEO Meg Whitman with 48 percent support to Poizner's 20 percent.
Whitman campaigned in Pleasanton where she told supporters she was pleased by the poll numbers. She has spent $71 million of her own money in the campaign.
Poizner has spent $24-million and during a campaign event in Fresno, he acknowledged that he's the underdog in the race, but said voters would come around by Tuesday.
