Injured Berkeley activist back from Israel

BERKELEY, CA

Tristan Anderson suffered a traumatic brain injury when reports say he was hit in the forehead by a tear gas canister fired by Israeli forces. He was participating in a demonstration over the wall being built to divide Israel from the Palestinian West Bank.

Friends say Anderson has not yet regained the use of his left side and faces a long period of cognitive and physical rehabilitation.
