Man arrested for robbing 7-Eleven with kitchen knife

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA

Officers responded to a reported robbery at the convenience store located at 1136 Mission Road at about 1:15 a.m., according to the South San Francisco Police Department.

The store employee told officers that a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a mask had entered the store wielding a kitchen knife.

The suspect, later identified as 51-year-old South San Francisco resident Anthony Fernandezees, demanded money from the cash register and the employee complied. The suspect fled the area on foot.
