The Federal Trade Commission is continuing its crack down on loan modification companies.

The FTC has now banned eight additional individuals and companies from selling mortgage-relief services and been ordered to pay $15 million in fees. The settlements were the latest actions against marketers who are accused of exploiting distressed homeowners.

Among those named on Monday were federal Loan Modification Law Center and Loss Mitigation Services.
