Gas station robbed on Mission Street

SAN FRANCISCO

Police responded to a call at 10:46 p.m. that a 43-year-old gas station employee was ordered to give the contents of the station's register to the robbers, Officer Albie Esparza said. The victim did not report seeing any weapons.

The business that was robbed is the Chevron at 1601 Mission St., according to the station's manager.

The first suspect, a man between 22 and 25 years old, who was wearing a black hooded sweater and black pants, walked behind the counter and ordered the employee to open the cash register, police said. The victim allegedly complied and the suspect took its contents.

The robber then left in a four-door green or brown sedan with the second suspect, a man between 20 and 25 years old who also was wearing a black hooded sweater and black pants, Esparza said.

Police are still investigating who is responsible for the robbery.
