They were called to an apartment complex on Blackburn Street Wednesday where a kitten was stuck in a drain. The crew pried off the grate, only to find that the scared cat was stuck between two drains. They rigged up a hose to nudge the kitty out to safety.
Resident Libbey Blumberg says she will keep the little kitten and take some others that she and her mom found under a bush to an animal hospital on Mission Street where they should be available for adoption.
