Starting on Sept. 4, VTA will reroute existing buses on Lines 22 and 522 to Alma Street between Page Mill Road and the Palo Alto Transit Center before and after home games. There will be no stops in between the two endpoints.
This change in service will keep regular buses on schedule and minimize delays when traffic is heavy.
VTA will also operate buses providing local service between Page Mill Road and the Palo Alto Transit Center, making all the necessary stops.
The reroute will start around two hours before each game and continue until traffic subsides, then resume at the end of the game and continue until traffic returns to normal.
The service will be available for all home games, including Sept. 4 and 18, Oct. 9 and 23, and Nov. 6 and 27.
