Two men rob Concord Subway sandwich shop

CONCORD, CA

The robbery was reported at about 9:40 p.m. at the shop, located at 790 Oak Grove Road, Concord police Cpl. James Carroll said.

Two suspects entered the store, confronted an employee in the back of the business and demanded money, Carroll said.

The employee gave the suspects cash from the register and handed over his wallet. The suspects then fled the shop on foot. As of this morning, they had not been arrested, according to Carroll.

One suspect is described as a white male about 6 feet tall and weighing 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with two gray stripes on the front, black pants, gloves and a mask, and was armed with a silver handgun, Carroll said.

The second suspect is described as a man of about the same height and weight. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt with a black hood and sleeves, black gloves, dark jeans and a white mask, and was armed with a dark-colored handgun.

No one was injured in the robbery.
