SF police searching for suspect who shot gun

SAN FRANCISCO

At about 8:10 a.m., officers saw a male suspect shooting a gun in the 200 block of Blythedale Avenue and tried to apprehend him, police Sgt. Troy Dangerfield said.

The suspect fled and has not been found. More officers responded and are "doing a systematic search of the area to locate that suspect," Dangerfield said.

The suspect was not shooting at the officers, and no one was injured by the gunshots, he said.

The suspect had not been arrested as of 8:45 a.m., according to Dangerfield.
