Researchers quantify the social cost of falling in love

Oxford University researchers have quantified the "social cost" of falling in love.

They found that people in romantic relationships typically lose two friends. The research shows most single people have five people in their core group -- friends they see at least once a week.

Those who are "in a relationship" have about three core friends.
