SF considers warnings for trucks covered in graffiti

San Francisco city officials are considering issuing warnings or orders to clean up trucks covered with graffiti.

It is similar to a law that requires building owners to clean graffiti off their walls, or be billed for the cost if the city does it.

The San Francisco Examiner reports the city's public works director now wants to extend that law to vehicle owners by having their graffiti-prone trucks painted the color green.

The darker vehicle color aims to prevent vandals from marking what's normally a pale canvas.
