The Oakland Museum of California is the backdrop of our special program. With almost 2 million objects of art, history, and natural science, the Oakland Museum is home to a broad collection representing the many stories that make up California. Exciting new exhibits are featured in the newly renovated galleries. "Pixar: 25 Years of Animation" highlights the unique work of the Emeryville-based company, providing unprecedented access to the process behind these beloved modern animated movies. Also on exhibit is "The Marvelous Museum: A Project By Mark Dion." It gives a glimpse into some of the Museum's hidden treasures. These and other collections are on display now.
