Sleep may help people lose weight

Losing weight might be simpler than you think -- try getting a good night sleep.

A new study out of the University of Chicago Medical Center found people on a diet who got eight and a half hours of sleep lost a little more than three pounds in a 14-day period.

Those who only slept a little over five hours, lost slightly more than a pound.

The hormone that triggers hunger spikes as people get less sleep, leaving tired people hungrier.
