The shooting was reported at 11:57 p.m. Friday in the 5200 block of West Street, Oakland police Sgt. Cliff Wong said.
Wong did not have any details about the female who was killed, but said the other three victims, all males, were taken to a local hospital where two were in critical condition and one was in stable condition as of this morning.
A vehicle pulled up and words were exchanged before at least one suspect opened fire on the victims, Wong said.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, he said.
