Duchess of Windsor jewels up for auction

London's auction house, Sotheby's is selling 20 pieces once owned by the late Duchess of Windsor Tuesday.

The king of England stepped down in 1936 to become the duke of Windsor and marry American socialite Wallis Simpson.

The auctioned pieces come from their courtship and married life.

Among the items up for sale are a diamond-encrusted evening clutch and a flamingo brooch made with rubies, sapphires and emeralds. They are expected to sell for more than $6 million.
