DENMARK

The study, in the online Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, looked at 28,000 Danish children. It found those exposed to cell phones before and just after birth, even for short periods of time, were 50 percent more likely to have emotional or behavioral problems by the age of seven.

UCLA researchers say they do not know why, but they recommend that expectant and new moms use hands-free devices when talking on cell phones.
