Study: People over 65 who walk fast, live longer

University of Pittsburgh researchers have found, people over 65-years-old who walk fast live longer.

They say walking is a useful way of measuring wellbeing because it requires body support, timing and power.

A senior who can walk three miles per hour has a 40 percent chance of living to 102 years.

Researchers caution that this doesn't mean you should try to walk faster than you're comfortable with - that can actually result in injuries.
